For those of you not in the know, Insite Graphics have been a proud sponsor at EFL club, Sutton Utd FC for the past ten years. We work with Sutton Utd as a community club and provide some branding and print opportunities at the VBS Community Stadium in Gander Green Lane.
At the heart of Sutton’s project focus, is their aim to provide public benefit through local participation in healthy recreational activities. To achieve this objective, the club continues to focus on the necessary facilities and support centred at Sutton United FC, whilst also providing direct engagement with the local community.
Sutton United Girls run teams from U10 to U16, and form part of the Sutton United Youth and Community Foundation. The Club specifically focus on developing players to be prepared for the rigours and skill sets involved in the Women’s game. The aim is continuous development rather than winning, although the development model has been successful in delivering league and cup successes across the years. The Club also continues to provide a twice-weekly session, for both men and women, on Wednesday mornings at Goals Soccer Centre in North Cheam.
In addition to football training, Sutton also has as an active and well established Walking Football group for both men and women over the age of 55 years. Thirty people are currently taking part in this initiative, with strong bonds and friendships being made within the club, as well as the many mental and physical health benefits.
The Club also continues to provide a Special Needs Schools Outreach Programme for the Carew Manor Academy in Wallington. These enrichment sessions carried on at the school on Thursdays throughout the academic year, with currently 12 boys and 2 girls attending.
This is just a few of the reasons why Insite Graphics are delighted to continue this partnership and to be working with Sutton Utd in our community. If you’d like more information on Sutton FC and all that they are doing for the community, please pop over to their website at www.suttonunited.net.
