Our green credentials

We are self certified for BS8901. We have discussed our self certification; how we have calculated our carbon footprint and the ways we are going to try and reduce it and in the meantime offset, it with Petrel Consulting – an independent carbon and coaching company.

We have used the DEFRA environmental 2008 guidelines when calculating both our own and our employee’s vehicles emissions and EDF’s formula when working out carbon emissions for our electricity consumption.

We use paper that’s FSC approved. The Forestry Stewardship Council is a strict governing body which, among other things, ensures that for every tree we use another is planted.

We have ISO 14001 accreditation. This means we have certification to prove that we are environmentally focused and shows us how to measure our consumption and reduce waste going forward.

We are working closely with our suppliers to find out how they are tackling their CO2 emissions. We will be reviewing our suppliers and possibly changing them if we don’t receive satisfactory answers.
